Janet M. Marchibroda, MBA, is the chief executive officer of the eHealth Initiative and its Foundation, both Washington, D.C.-based independent, national non-profit organizations whose missions are to improve the quality, safety, and efficiency of health care through information and information technology. Prior to the eHealth Initiative, Marchibroda co-founded and served as chief operating officer for two health care information organizations and was chief operating officer of the National Committee for Quality Assurance. In addition, she was rec-ognized in 2005 as one of the Top 25 Women in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare magazine and in 2006 for the Federal Computer Week Top 100 Award. Marchibroda holds a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia and an MBA with a concentration in organization development from George Washington University. Robert McMahan, PharmD, MBA, MATS, is the director of pharmacy at Fidelis Care, a not-for profit, faith-based health plan based in New York with a corporate mission of serving the underserved. Prior to joining Fidelis, McMahan worked with the managed care operations at the Mayo Clinic and was instrumental in the Medicare Part D development at Humana, particularly in the vision and implementation of the Medication Therapy Management program. McMahan is active in many professional organizations and serves on the Board of Directors for the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy. He is passionate about clinical pharmacy services and health care quality. McMahan received his MA in Theological Studies from Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota, and his PharmD and MBA from Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina. In addition to being a licensed pharmacist, McMahan is also an ordained Southern Baptist minister
