In this paper, Single-Ended Primary Inductor Converter (SEPIC) fed DC motor is proposed. Soft-switching technique such as Zero-Voltage-Switching (ZVS) and Zero-Current-Switching (ZCS) operation plays a vital role in high voltage applications. Zero-Current-Switching (ZCS) operation achieved due to resonance between the resonant inductor and the capacitor by using output diode and its reverse-recovery loss is subsequently reduced. Zero-Voltage-Switching (ZVS) operation is achieved by using coupled inductor and auxiliary inductor.
