Sodium selenite solution and lead oxide solution were used to study the effects of selenium and lead on some blood parameters (R.B.C., W.B.C., Hb. and P.C.V.) of male mice. The results indicate that the treatment of male mice with 0.5ml/kg, 1ml/kg of sodium selenite caused significant reduction of the above blood parameters. The injection of male mice with 0.5mg/kg,1mg/kg and 2mg/kg of lead oxide showed the significant reduction of R.B.C., W.B.C., Hb. and P.C.V. The treatment of male mice with sodium selenite and lead oxide at same time have a slight antagonistic effect on the effect of lead oxide as indicated by a small reduction in blood parameters
