Computational Grid is a new paradigm in distributed computing which aims to realize a large-scale high performance computing environment over geographically distributed resources. Resource management and load balancing are key concerns when implementing grid middleware and improving resource utilization. The main goal of load balancing is to provide a distributed, low cost, scheme that balances the load across all the resources.
