In this work, we analyze the publishlsubscribe dis-tributed system paradigm over mobile ad hoc networks with respect to the performance and the impact of differ-ent mobility speeds and patterns of all participants in ur-ban and high-way scenarios. In order to handle mobil-ity, our publishlsubscribe framework relies on light-weight publishlsubscribe brokers, which are chosen in a topic-drivenfashion. With the option ofgeographic location and waypoint information, we discuss severalpublishlsubscribe variants and analyze their advantagesldisadvantages when applied in different mobility environment.
