In general terms teachers have in the last four or five years become increasingly alarmed at the rising tide of disruptive behav-iour in schools rather than with fears concerning the sexual morality of their pupils. The disruption is manifest in behaviour which reveals thought-patterns, standards and values which are at variance with the norms of most (but not all) adults in School Communities.
