Kutchi (also spelled as Kutchhi, Kachchhi, or Cutchi) is an Indo-Aryan language from the Indo-Iranian group of the Indo-European language family. It is derived from one of the prakrit, or ancient vernacular languages of India that evolved into the modern Indo-Aryan languages of the Northwestern subdivision. Kutchi is spoken primarily in the largest district of Indian’s westernmost state, Gujarat.
