The purpose of this study is to study the select aspects of characteristics of managers in five star hotel enterprises in Turkey. The study focuses on the variables of age, gender, education, and years of experience. The managers such as general director, vice and departmental managers, who are leading the administrative positions are included in this study. According to the findings of the study, in five star hotel enterprises in Aegean and Mediterranean regions, the managers ’ attitude and judgment reflect statistically significant differences regarding the gender, educational level, the size of the hotel enterprise and the level of the professional training.
