As it has been known, most organizations implement business process reengineering (BPR) for improving their performances. Despite this, figures show about 70-80 percent defective and unsuccessful cases. There is plenty of research for finding and describing the reasons for the defects. In this paper we introduce the main reason that this research has been neglected to date. As will be described, using inadequate techniques and non- proper approaches seems to be the main reason for non-success.
