The groundwater availability model for the northern portion of the Trinity Aquifer was used to simulate a 50-year predictive simulation of groundwater flow in the Woodbine Aquifer and northern portion of the Trinity Aquifer System. Average recharge conditions were used for the first forty-seven years of the simulation, followed by the three-year drought-of-record. Pumpage was assigned for each stress period, or year, in the simulation based on the specifications provided by the groundwater conservation districts within Groundwater Management Area 8.
