Load balancing is a crucial part in every implementation of a cluster or grid com-puting environment. The election of an optimal strategy is bound by the character-istics of the architecture, the application of the computing environment, compu-tational power, time constraints, and the nature of the information available about the system and its tasks. In this paper we propose a new load balancing strategy for the TREx environment [1] aimed to improve the execution time of the jobs in the system.
