Commissioner Clark said the suggested changes to the Committee’s 2014 Proposed Charges are being proposed to reflect the current activities of the Committee and its task forces. According to the NAIC timeline for the adoption of the 2014 charges, Commissioner Clark said the Committee needs to consider the adoption of the 2014 Proposed Charges so they can be presented to the Executive (EX) Committee and Plenary at the Fall National Meeting. Commissioner Kreidler made a motion to adopt the charges. Commissioner Goldsmith seconded the motion. There was no discussion and the charges were unanimously adopted (Attachment A). 2. Discussed Other Matters Commissioner Clark said the Committee will reserve the first hour of its meeting during the Fall National Meeting to discuss the implementation of the federal Affordable Care Act (ACA) and the impact on consumers. Andrea Routh (Missouri Health Advocacy Alliance) said she has heard concerns about licensed producers establishing websites that appear to be associated with governmental agencies. Ms. Roth requested this issue be included in any future discussions by the Antifraud (D) Task Force pursuant to the Task Force’s charge to discuss state perspectives regarding the regulation of navigators established by the ACA
