Abstract—This paper presents a multi-vehicle platform and framework for robotics education and research. The system is designed as an educational tool for introducing children to engineering and robotics and is composed of hardware and software components that allow users to easily design and implement sophisticated robotic behaviors. We formally introduce the robotic game Marco Polo as a problem that mimics the pursuit-evasion game often played by children in swimming pools. Specifically, we address the question of finding a pursuit strategy under the condition of intermittent communication. Finally, we present an implementation of the Marco Polo game. I
