Cotton has a strategic importance for Central Africa countries in terms of incomes for the producers and of budgetary receipts for States. However, the Central Africa’s cotton sector faces financial difficulties due to crises in the international market and to the internal structural factors. Considering the economic stakes in these sectors, different reforms recommended brought about changes in the organisation and functioning on the input supply segment. The proposed reforms consisted of organising the cotton sector into an “integrated sector ” as well as into their liberalisation.
