i This report is an in-depth examination of telecommuting and its application within a Transportation Demand Management (TDM) framework at the University of Waterloo. It is a continuation of a previous report on TDM at the University, which identified telecommuting as a possible remedy for traffic congestion. Specifically, the current report examines the use of telecommuting among staff at the University of Waterloo, and considers how this example of a major employer’s experiences could be applied to other employers in the Regional Municipality of Waterloo.
