1 Towards OIC Economic Cooperation: Impacts of Developing 8 (D-8) Preferential Trade Agreement By

The Developing 8 (D-8) comprises 8 developing countries with large Muslim populations that have formed a freer trade alliance, all of which are OIC members. Among its objectives are to create new opportunities and enhance intra-trade relations while providing better standards of living amongst its citizens. This paper examines the trade impacts of possible trade liberalization among the D-8: Turkey
