To reduce harmful emissions numerical models are developed to simulate combustion processes in engineering appli-cations. In this paper a model for partially-premixed combustion used in Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes Simula-tions (RANS) is presented. A amelet approach combined with a Probability Density Function (PDF) closure method for the chemical source term is used to describe turbulence-chemistry interaction.
