ABSTRACT: The performance of single, double, triple junction a-Si:H and hybrid (a-Si/µc-Si) thin-film modules from different manufacturers was studied with both indoor and outdoor measurements over a one-year period under various conditions. Before the outdoor test campaign, its modules Temperature Coefficients (TCO) and performance surface measurements were carried out indoors over varying conditions of irradiance and temperature. During the outdoor investigation, the modules were also briefly removed from the rack and measured every month indoors at Standard Test Conditions STC (1000W/m2, AM1.5 and 25°C).
