The equivalence principle and the moment method are used to obtain the scattering matrix when a number of waveguide junctions (more than two) are considered in a cascade. This analysis represents each two consecutive waveguide junctions by their scattering matrix. The overall scattering matrix of a cascade is obtained by invoking the generalized scattering matrix technique to combine the scattering matrices of each two consecutive junctions. Numerical results for the reflection and transmitted coefficients are presented graphically versus frequently
