A 48-year-old woman presented with a rapidly growingvulvar mass. Examination revealed a very firm 6 cm pedunculated tumour arising from the right labium minus. Similar smaller tumours were located at the base. There were no comorbid conditions or other dermatologic dis-eases. A benign giant fibroepithelial stromal polyp was con-firmed on biopsy. Management was by surgical excision. Fibroepithelial polyps of the vulva are common, usually small, and histologically benign. Larger lesions are much less common and likely arise from proliferation of mesenchymal cells within the hormonally sensitive subepithelial stromal layer of the lower genital tract. Recur-rence has been reported, probably related to incomplete excision or multifocality, and giant lesions have also been reported in association with other dermatoses.1 Expert pathological interpretation may be necessary to exclude lesions such as aggressive angiomyxoma, angiomyo-fibroblastoma and sarcoma.2,3 Consent to publish these images has been obtained from the patient
