Teeth may vary in size, shape and number. Mesiodens is the most commonly occurring supernumerary tooth, usually seen between upper two central incisors which may be impacted or erupted. The present paper describes a rare case of palatal placed, inverted, severely dilacerated and impacted mesio-dens which was detected on radiographic examination for some other problem
