ABSTRACT The harmonization process of the European degree study programs in Agricultural/Biosystems Engineering was started in 1989 and is still in progress. At present this process benefits from the results of two European thematic networks: USAEE-TN, whose best achievements are the core curricula to be used as benchmarks for degree study programs in Agricultural/Biosystems Engineering; ERABEE-TN, still working towards developing the results of USAEE-TN itself. Another important contribution towards the harmonization of the European curricula in Agricultural/Biosystems Engineering was achieved through the cooperation between the EU and the US, during the project of POMSEBES consortium. This paper describes the harmonization process of degr...
