modeling of the concentrated seawater discharge's dispersal and dilution to develop a strategy for minimizing its effect on the balanced indigenous community (BIC). This strategy focuses on preventing rather than lessening the potential effects of elevated salinity discharge through "in pipe " dilution of the concentrate before it is released, and the flow of the effluent into receiving waters having a high mixing potential due to the presence of wind- and tidally driven currents.
