I designed this guide having in mind the desire to build an useful tool of communication, both for employer and employee, with regard to the workplace health protection. Health at the workplace, in Romania, has to be ascertained by the employer as an important problem in all its aspects and should not be perceived only as a mandatory isssue. Having in mind these considerations, these guidelines constitute an invitation for debate between the employee, the employer and the occupational health physician, so as to prevent illnesses, to create healthy and secure jobs and to increase employees ’ work performances.
