Commercial vineyards in the Czech Republic were surveyed for the presence of sixteen different viruses, testing phloem scrapings from dormant one-year-old shoots by ELISA. Grapevine leafroll-associated virus 1, Grapevine fleck virus and Grapevine virus A were found to be the prevailing viruses, with an incidence ranging from 14 to 25%.
