(IEET) has launched accreditation of engineering education for the Bachelor’s degree level since 2004, and beginning in 2007, it will introduce accreditation for the Master’s degree level. This paper is to discuss the following three areas: (1) international trend on accreditation of engineering education at the Master’s degree level, (2) rationale for accreditation at the Master’s degree in Taiwan, and (3) accreditation criteria for accrediting Master’s degree of education
