Gradually varying prosody in connected speech samples: an fMRI study

Summary: the present study is a pilot to investigate the possibility in examining the brain activation during the perception of prosody without confound of the linguistic layer of content. Therefore we used a parametric modulation of prosodic information with identical verbal information in an fMRI environment. We think this approach is promising for further research. 1
