We present you results of the settlement of the orchid Serapias perez-chiscanoi, which we measured in the period from 2002 to 2007 in the region of Vila Nova de Baronia – Baixo Alentejo. After a short biophysical characterization of the area, we present the biology and phytogeographical distribution of the co-occurring flora. Further more, its reproduction is explained. We have classified the vegetation types in which it grows and we used the Braun-Blanquet method to do so. We point out the human influence that have affected this habitat for the past 6 years and analysed its consequences on the floral-structure and composition of the studied vegetation types in which it integrates the specie studied
