RESUME: L'alt6ration de biotites et de muscovites en halloysite a6t6 mise en 6vidence par l'6tude n MEB dans l'alt6ration de roches granitiques tde micaschistes. Cette transformation d6bute par le d6veloppement d'un r6seau losangique ~ la surface des feuillets de micas. La croissance par 6pitaxie de tubes d'halloysite est parfois accompagn~e par celle de cristaux de goethite. Le MEB montre que l'halloysite se forme directement ~,partir du mica et qu'elle apparait dans les tous premiers tades de l'alt/~ration, quelles que soient les conditions.
