Purpose: To further investigate the relationship of emotion and its importance in physical rehab. The mental wellbeing of in-patients plays a large role in determining the rate and degree of rehabilitation achieved. Most health care professionals have acknowledged consideration for the cognitive aspect of an injury or illness; the intent of this study is to further emphasize the role it plays in the realm of physical therapy. This is especially important when working within the in-patient setting.
