Legume cover crop forming symbiosis with beneficial soil microorganism is widely well known to be used for degraded land reclamation such as in post mining area. Desmodium spp. is one of legume cover crop forming symbiosis with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) and rhizobium symbiosis.
