Results of theoretical nd numerical studies of the quantum chaos are presented, and our current understanding of this phenomenon is discussed. The main attention is focused on the localization and ergodicity in classically fully chaotic quantum models, and on the related statistical properties of energy spectra s well as of eigenfunctions. 1
