Arabic letters have formed an artistic framework for the concept of visual beauty which feeds the artist's imagination with creative visions on the level of achievement as the letter has characteristics that makes it attractive and unique. \ud The research includes four chapters. The first one tackles the methodological framework in which the research problem was identified by the following question: What is the aesthetic effect achieved by using the Arabic letter within design achievement? While the research aim has recognized the aesthetic impact of the letter and its effectiveness in design achievements? \ud Research limits were limited to design achievements which used the letter as an effective unit by Arab artists for the period from 2014 to 2015. \ud The second chapter "theoretical framework" includes three topics. The first one studies the aesthetic impact as a basic dimension in design achievements. The second one studies the Arabic letter and its visual effectiveness in various design achievements. While the third one studies the design and artistic achievements. \ud The third chapter is the "research procedures" in which the research methodology was identified by describing and analyzing contents of samples performed by the two researchers. Moreover, this chapter includes the research community which was identified by design samples of Arab artists who adopted the Arabic letter in their designs. \ud The fourth chapter: Based upon the analysis of research sample, the two researchers have reached a group of results, such as:- \ud 1- Arabic letter revealed an aesthetic impact within Arabic artist's designs. \ud 2- Arabic letters participated in settling aesthetic, functional, semantic, and expressive richness inside the space of design achievement. \ud Depending on the results of research, the two researchers have concluded the artist's trial of calligraphy in design achievements to find approaches between beauty and function, accordingly giving a visual recognition with spirituality of Arabic calligraphy. \ud However, in view of the results and conclusions reached by the research, the two researchers have recommended to encourage studying the cultural heritage of Arabic calligraphy. Finally, in order to accomplish the requirements of research, the two researchers suggest studying the spiritual perspective of calligraphy in modern design achievements\u
