Objective: The study compared the neu-ropsychological functioning of patients with first-admission schizophrenia with that of patients with first-admission psy-chotic affective disorders. Method: Data came from the Suffolk County Mental Health Project, an epi-demiological study of first-admission psychotic disorders.
