In this study, we investigate the behavior of the pulsatile blood flow in an actual Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm derived from the computed tomography (CT) scan images. The human blood is assumed to behave as non-Newtonian fluid. Fluid-structure interaction (FSI) technique was used to predict the displacement and stresses on the wall. The objective of this work is to study the effect of hypertensive blood pressure and the wall shear stress (WSS) since hypertension is reported to be a risk factor in rupture of aneurysms.
