PROBLEMS OF FORMING FUTURE PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS’ HEALTH-PRESERVING TECHNOLOGIES AND IMPLEMENTING THEM INTO THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS

The issues of forming future primary school teachers’ health-preserving technologies and implementing them into the educational process are discussed in the article. Motivational, information and knowledgeable, and operational and instrumental components are singled out as main ones in teachers’ training. Filling the components takes place during the theoretical training while teaching natural, psychological, pedagogical and methodological disciplines, as well as during practical pedagogical training. One of the main tasks of practical pedagogical training is students’ independent work in school hygiene. Methodological recommendations to the independent work are made by the authors; the list of tasks is given. Doing tasks in school hygiene, students assess hygienic conditions for pupils’ work: determine the air-thermal regime, lighting, room equipment, analyze the working mode of a school and a timetable. Unfavorable social and economic problems in contemporary Ukraine, the difficult ecological situation, overloads of information and intensification of educational process cause the tendencies to schoolchildren’s health impairment. Primary school teacher plays an especially important part in organization of preserving and strengthening children’s health that is caused by young learners’ age peculiarities. Primary school teacher, as a main organizer of the educational process, should systematically and effectively influence his/her pupils’ healthy development. Nowadays the problem of preserving pupils’ health is studied by R. Aizman, H. Zaitsev, V. Kabanov, O. Yazlovetska; the ways of preserving and strengthening pupils’ health through implementing health-preserving technologies are disclosed by A. Akhutina, V. Kovalko, V.Lozynskyi, M. Smirnov; the approaches to organizing the holistic educational process as the basis of forming, preserving and incipiency of pupils’ health are developed by M. Bezrukikh, P. Bohdan, V. Kassatkin; theoretical basis and teachers’ practical training to implementing health- preserving technologies into the educational process are researched by V. Babenko, L. Borysenko and others. The priority task of modern educational institution is creating safe educational environment for development of a healthy personality during his/her training, forming his/her conscious attitude to life and health, promoting life skills mastery. The aim of this study is to create conditions for forming health-preserving technologies of future primary school teachers and implementing them into the learning process. The task is to train a creative teacher who would ensure pupils’ healthy development and their readiness for independent life. The main components (motivational, information and knowledgeable, operational and instrumental) of teacher’s training to implement the health-preserving technologies into the educational process of primary school are singled out. The motivational component can be defined as a leading component, as it directs the learning process to developing students’ needs in professional improvement. Information and knowledgeable component includes lectures, workshops and seminars in natural, psychological, pedagogical and methodological subjects. Filling operational and instrumental component is carried out during practical pedagogical training. On the basis of this research the authors conclude that university lecturers and tutors should pay attention to looking for the ways of increasing the effectiveness of students’ training for educational; activities at primary school. The necessary conditions for rational organizing of learning process at primary school are making safe educational environment and maintaining optimal distribution of lessons in accordance with the dynamic pupils’ performance during a working day, a week, and a term
