The data on the study of the mucosa of the esophagus, stomach and duodenum in patients with cryptogenic hepatitis and liver cirrhosis are presented. The changes associated with portal hypertension (varicose veins of the esophagus and stomach, portal gastropathy), and the changes combined with chronic diffuse inflammatory disease of the liver (signs of reflux disease, erosive and hemorrhagic changes in the mucous membrane of the stomach and duodenum).
