The urban underground pipeline is the one of the most important parts of infrastructure. It is the key for urban planning, managing and constructing. However, with the urban enlarge, the pipeline net become more and more large and complicated. So it needs scientific management. GIS is the new technology, and it can be applied to the pipeline management. With the help of GIS’s functions of spatial analyzing, the pipeline net can be designed, managed and constructed easily.
