ABSTRACT- The basic requirements in modern telecommunications are related to the usage of the interactive broadband services, such as the access to Internet with the wide bandwidth, videoconference etc. One of the possible, and today very attractive solutions is the application of xDSL technology in realization of the access networks via standard copper telephone lines. This article presents an overview of the operation conditions of the xDSL systems provided that the dominant are: crosstalk noise and interference noise (impulse noise and radio noise).
