Development of Multiplex PCR Assays for Rapid Identification of Dairy Lactobacilli

Abstract:This work focused on the (1) comparison of the specificity of 4 conserved and 11 specific primer pairs derived from the integrated sequences of Lactobacilli 16S and 23S ribosomal RNA genes and their intergenic spacer region (2) designing multiplex PCR assays for the identification of Lactobacillus species.
