Abstract: This paper reports on the ongoing research of using the Cultural Artefacts in Education (CAE) questionnaire to determine the educational values of global cultures. In particular it examines the desire for adaptation across cultures in an educational setting. Here we present the initial findings from students from five different cultural backgrounds. These results can feed into the authoring process for adaptive content, with teachers being able to use stereotype adaptation to deliver content pre-adjusted to a learners cultural needs
