The CERL Occasional Research Paper Series is a nonproprietary publication outlet for empirically-based research that is relevant for education policy and practice. The Series is intended as a catalyst for information exchange and discussion among policymakers, educators, education researchers, and interested citizens. Pre-kindergarten to adult education falls within the purview of the Series. Studies of education resources, processes, and outcomes are welcome as are studies of the broader social, political, and economic contexts of education. Meta-analyses and comprehensive analytical reviews of research may also be accepted. Manuscripts usually average ten to forty double-spaced pages; three copies are required for the initial review.
