AbstRAct While detailed analysis of the productivity of many sectors of the Irish economy are not possible because of a lack of data, the quality and volume of data on agricultural outputs and inputs allows such an analysis. In this chapter, a picture of the productivity performance of the Irish agriculture sector based on various different measures is presented and compared with the performance of Ireland’s key competitors in this area.
