Abstract. The growing importance of eGoverment is putting pressure on authorities to provide services online and accessible to the citizen. In order to satisfy this necessity, Goverments have to develop high-cost infrastructures in a short period of time and with a diffuse specifica-tions of the objectives and services. In the other hand, there are a large set of initiatives that have been launched for the development of spa-tial data infrastructures. This kind of infrastructures are the basic tool for optimizing the management of geographic information because its amount and complexity.
