Abstract- In this paper, we describe the background, implementation, and outcome assessment of a global supply chain course project involving US-Mexico student teams working on the formulation and analysis of the global supply chain of a food product under various cultural and regulatory constraints. Each team utilizes Internet-based collaboration platforms for communication and interaction, and submits the solutions and reasons via the platforms. This endeavor is motivated in part by ABET outcome assessment items on teams and the department objectives at Iowa State University. The outcome assessment of the project will be discussed, as well as further improvement
