'To whom correspondence should be addressed The aim of this work was to clarify the value and application of operative laparoscopic treatment for adnexal torsion. We included in our study all patients (n = 27) who presented with an intra-operative diagnosis of torsion of the adnexa between January 1989 and May 1995. A total of 28 adnexal torsions were treated.
