This article attempts to provide a review of literature pertaining to computer technology use in education. The authors discuss the benefits of learning with technology tools when integrated into teaching. The argument that introduc-ing computer technology into schools will neither improve nor change the quality of classroom instruction unless teachers and educational leaders are able to evaluate and integrate the use of that technology into the curriculum (Geisert & Futrell, 2000) is provided by a synthesis of a review of literature across three specific areas: (a) benefits of computer technologies; (b) meaningful learning, and (c) computers and instruction.
