We present an Integrated Clinico-Genomics Environment (ICGE). The proposed reference architecture provides for the seamless integration of clinical and genomic information, and it is based on the synergy between advanced medical informatics and post-genomics technology. ICGE aims to enhance and support the future genetic and individualised medical environment. Integrated intelligent data processing operations (i.e., data mining) are in the heart of ICGE. The vision behind ICGE, the targeted objectives, as well as its design specification starts to find its realisation in the context of the PrognoChip (Greek funded) project which is also presented
