ABSTRACT The SLEUTH model developed by Clarke, based on the Cellular Automata (CA) city expansion development theory, can be applied to city development simulation in metropolitan areas. If we want to predict urban development trends, many microcosmic changes of parameter can cause major changes in the predicted result due to the complexity and indefinite nature of parameters. The SLEUTH model has been applied to the Silicon Valley of San Francisco and in Washington D.C. In fact, there have been good results applying thi
