Radiolabeled somatostatin analogs have been shown to be important radiopharmaceuticals for tumor diagnosis and radionuclide therapy. The kidney has appeared to be the critical organ during radionuclide therapybecauseof peptide reabsorption and retention in theproximal tubules after glomerular filtration.
